The contribution of your time and experience will make a huge difference in the lives of these hard-working, motivated young adults. As an academic mentor, you can help individuals to acquire communication skills necessary for success in the workplace and/or to achieve the goal of attaining a high school diploma. Whether it is for one hour or ten hours a week (or somewhere in between), you will soon start to see the progress that you are helping to accelerate. We are looking for tutors who are available at any of the following times: Monday-Thursday from 3:30-4:30; Fridays between 9:00 and 3:00. You will be working in our San Rafael school at 27 Larkspur Street. Current projects include: setting up and organizing years of historical slides and photographs; creation of an MCC historical timeline in preparation for the celebration of our 25th anniversary; and general clerical help with filing and mailings. We need assistance with handout materials, exhibit tables, website development, and Internet research.
