We
are very grateful for the generous financial support we receive
from our many contributors. Your gift is an important step in
developing youth and conserving natural resources for a strong,
sustainable community. Your gift will support the core, ongoing
programs and services of the Marin Conservation Corps including:
 |
AmeriCorps: Members participate in a yearlong program in ecological management, restoration and the environmental education of Marin County students in elementary and middle schools. ($1,200 supports a corpsmember for one month to conduct restoration projects on Marin County public lands or in public schools; $16,000 supports them for one year.) |
| Project ReGeneration: One hundred forty youth ages 11-17 participate in this free summer environmental service camp. ($3,000 supports one child for a summer.) |
 |
 |
Corpsmember Education: Support the John Muir Charter School education and Corps-to-Career training for corpsmembers. Help corpsmembers obtain their high school diploma, learn the English language, obtain job and leadership skills and find employment. ($8,000 will fund a part-time contract teacher for one year.) |
